Application Process

For assistance with the application process make an appointment with the McDaniel Study Abroad Team!
CEO Ambassadors and the International Director can help you explore your options, narrow your choices, find additional funding, and secure your spot at a study abroad location around the world.

1. Decide where you want to study. - This My Study Abroad Decision Form.pdf can help you compare programs.

2. Complete the online application (You must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 and a clear Conduct record to be approved)
  • Budapest - All required forms must be signed and submitted by you.
  • All other programs - In addition to signing the forms you will need to identify the courses you wish to take while abroad and get faculty approval from advisors and Department Chairs
3. Once you are approved you must "COMMIT' to the program.
  • Click the COMMIT button
  • Complete the Participant Information Form
  • Upload your passport
  • Start your Visa process (no visa required to study in Budapest)
  • Mark your calendar with the date of your Predeparture Orientation
