Program Description:
Africa University - McDaniel College Exchange
Mutare, Zimbabwe

Africa University WalkwayMcDaniel College has an exchange partnership with Africa University in Zimbabwe. We welcome their students, and they look forward to hosting you to study for a semester or a year in a range of disciplines. You will sit beside students from all over Africa at this pan-African institution, affording you an incredible opportunity to hear many different perspectives in your classes. AU was founded in 1992, and currently enrolls more than 1,200 students representing 22 African nations seeking bachelor’s and master’s degrees. McDaniel College formalized its relationship with the University in 2010. Since then, McDaniel students, faculty, and administrators have been welcomed by this close-knit campus community.

Classes

It's important for students interested in studying at AU to be flexible with their class choices, as McDaniel is not able to guarantee what classes will be offered. The types of classes offered can be found by looking at the degree programs offered at AU. Contact the Director of International & Off-Campus Programs (ipo@mcdaniel.edu) for helping finding specific class information. All grades and credits will transfer back to McDaniel College. Students will need to work with their academic advisor to get class pre-approvals.
