You will be housed in student dormitories on this beautiful, modern campus. AU was founded in 1992, and currently enrolls more than 1,200 students representing 22 African nations seeking bachelor’s and master’s degrees. McDaniel College formalized its relationship with the University in 2010. Since then, McDaniel students, faculty, and administrators have been welcomed by this close-knit campus community.

- 3.0 GPA
- Good disciplinary record
- Good faculty recommendation
Costs and Billing
- All financial aid and McDaniel College grants/scholarships can be applied to the AU Exchange Program.
- Students will pay McDaniel tuition, international health insurance and administrative fees to their McDaniel student account. Students are responsible for paying the following items that are not billed to their McDaniel account: housing and meals, all ground transportation (but arrangements will be made to help you make your way from the airport in Harare to the campus upon your initial arrival), all personal expenses, cell phone, books, field trip and lab fees.
For information about accommodation, check out AU's housing website.
It's important for students interested in studying at AU to be flexible with their class choices. The types of classes offered can be found by looking at the degree programs offered at AU. Contact the Director of International & Off-Campus Programs (firstname.lastname@example.org) for helping finding specific class information.
All grades and credits will transfer back to McDaniel College. Students will need to work with their academic advisor to get class pre-approvals.
