Overview:

The Summer Intensive Arabic Program focuses on high-quality Blended Arabic (Modern Standard and Colloquial Moroccan Arabic) instruction at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. From haggling in the easily accessible medina using Darija (Moroccan Arabic) to navigating Rabat's contemporary neighborhoods, experiences with conversational Arabic are reinforced inside and outside the classroom.

Intensive coursework combined with daily interactions with host families helps students at all levels increase their Arabic proficiency within a short period. Students will have five hours of Arabic instruction per day for five days a week.  Students will also have language partners, weekly cultural activities, and day trips to places such as Tangier or Casablanca. The Intensive Arabic Program is offered in two 4-week sessions, so students can choose to spend one or two months living and studying in Rabat.
