McDaniel students may apply to hundreds of programs in over 50 countries.  Sorting through the programs may seem intimidating, but our advanced search function can help tailor your search and our custom search lets you search by key words.

Main Program Types
  • McDaniel College in Budapest – available to McDaniel and non-McDaniel students
    • The Budapest campus has been our signature program since 1994 and is the most popular semester-long destination. Exciting and dynamic classes are offered in areas such as global studies, business, and liberal arts. All classes are taught in English, and federal, state and institutional aid may be applied to this program.
  • Exchange programs - available to McDaniel students
    • Study at one of our many partner universities and pay McDaniel tuition rates. Federal, state and institutional aid may be applied to these programs.
  •  Affiliated Programs - available to McDaniel students
    • McDaniel College partners with about 30 universities and program providers, which administer hundreds of programs to over 50 countries. Federal and state financial aid (but not institutional aid) may be used toward the cost of these programs.
  • Jan Term Abroad - available to McDaniel students
    • Each January, several McDaniel faculty members take students abroad for special topics classes. Locations and topics vary year to year.
    • Jan term 2022 programs will be available for viewing starting in April.
  • Intern and Volunteer Abroad - available to McDaniel students
    • There are many opportunities to intern or volunteer abroad in a variety of different areas and locations.
Many of McDaniel's affiliated partners offer scholarships for students who apply to their programs.  There are also some national scholarships that you may be eligible for. Check out our scholarship listing for more information.

To apply, simply click Apply Now on the program’s page and follow the prompts.  If the program does not have an Apply Now button, it means that the program is currently not accepting applications.
